A combination of events was instrumental in the creation of Lullaby Designs. Shortly after being laid off from my job in August 2007, I received a message that I should start my own home business making baby blankets. I had been making my handmade baby blankets and signature hooded bath towels as baby shower gifts for my friends, co-workers and family members for many, many years so it seemed natural that I should create a business to sell my line of handmade products. When it came to creating a company logo, I remembered a handmade Mother’s Day card that my daughter Rae had made for me just a few months prior. The picture she drew was a perfect match for the concept of Lullaby Designs. A mother wrapping her child in warmth, security and love. Thus, Lullaby Designs was “born” on Halloween day 2007.
